Celebrity Cruises Captains Club Review

While the rewards of the Captains Club are incredibly beneficial, you should be aware of some restrictions and limitations. It is not common for cruise lines to honor reciprocal benefits with other loyalty programs. The exception is MSC. The benefits are reciprocal between MSC cruise lines, and vice versa. The following are some important factors to consider when considering joining the Celebrity Cruises Captains Club.

Membership to the Captain’s Club is free, and you can join the program on the cruise line’s website. Once you enroll, you’ll begin earning points based on the number of days you sail on your cruise. The higher room category you book, the more points you’ll earn per night. While you can’t redeem points until your cruise has ended, you can take advantage of promotions that offer double points. For example, you can earn double points if you book a stateroom with a veranda or higher.

As a member, you’ll receive exclusive events and discounts on specialty sailings. You’ll also enjoy reciprocal benefits with Azamara’s Le Club Voyage loyalty program and Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program. Additionally, you’ll be entitled to priority boarding and access to special lounges onboard. You’ll also be eligible to earn double points when you upgrade to a balcony cabin.
